Continuity via ΛsI-open sets

Abstract

Sanabria, Rosas and Carpintero [7] introduced the notions of ΛsI-sets and Î›sI-closed sets using ideals on topological spaces. Given an ideal I on a topological space (X, Ï„), a subset A ⊂ X is said to be Î›sI-closed if A = U∩F where U is a Î›sI-set and F is a Ï„*-closed set. In this work we use sets that are complements of Î›sI-closed sets, which are called Î›sI-open, to characterize new variants of continuity namely Î›sI-continuous, quasi- Î›sI-continuous y Î›sI-irresolute functions.
