Color representation: Theory and Techniques

Abstract

Representation models are very important in Applied Computational Mathematics (Requicha, 1980), (Gomes & Velho, 1992). In this work we introduce a model for color space representation. Using this model we construct a mathematical framework that enables us to develop systematically the classical results in the area of colorimetry without the need to use Grassmann Laws as a basic set of axioms for the theory.
